Through a variety of heat treatment processes, we are able to further enhance the mechanical properties of cast components.
Utilising our own on-site heat treatment furnaces, combined with our trusted and fully accredited supply partners, we are able to offer products in the following heat treated conditions:
- Annealed, normalised, hardened and tempered
- Precipitation hardened
- Vacuum solution annealed
- Induction and case hardened
- Nitrided
On completion of heat treatment processes, components will often require non-destructive and mechanical testing. We are able to offer a full suite of testing options through our on-site and fully accredited independent test laboratories.
- Dye penetrant inspection (DPI)
- Magnetic particle inspection (MPI)
- Liquid penetrant inspection (LPI)
- X-Ray examination
- Tensile testing
- Charpy Impact testing in a range of temperature conditions
- Positive material identification (PMI)
